Guiding investors through utility-scale battery storage — from tender to financial close.
Harbour Peak guides investors in BESS utility tenders and project development: tender strategy, supplier and EPC selection, commercial structuring and execution. We don't advise from the sidelines — we invest alongside our partners in a 700 MWh battery project, with a further 1.2 GWh coming in phase 2.
Tender-ready, bankable, built to perform.
Utility tenders reward preparation. Grid connection, technology choice, supplier terms and revenue structure all have to line up before a bid can win — and before a project can be financed. We guide investors through each step, with the procurement discipline of someone who has sat on both sides of the table.
Utility tenders
Tender screening, bid strategy and submission support — translating tender requirements into a technically sound, commercially competitive offer that stands up to evaluation.
Project development
From site and grid connection to permits, technology selection and EPC contracting — keeping the project on schedule and the risk profile under control towards financial close.
Supplier & commercial structuring
Competitive sourcing of batteries, PCS and balance of system, hard negotiation on price, warranties and performance guarantees — and a commercial structure investors and lenders can rely on.
We invest in what we recommend.
Together with our investment partners in the Benelux, Harbour Peak is investing in a utility-scale battery storage project developed in two phases. Our skin in the game keeps our advice sharp — and our interests aligned with those of the investors we guide.
Phase 1
The first phase of the project: a 700 MWh battery storage installation, in which Harbour Peak and our Benelux investment partners invest side by side — from tender and development through to construction.
Phase 2
A further 1.2 GWh is coming in phase 2 — building on the grid position, supplier base and lessons learned from phase 1 to scale the platform efficiently.
Aligned interests
As co-investors we carry the same risks as our partners. Every recommendation we make on technology, suppliers or structure is one we are prepared to back with our own capital.
Hands-on execution
Procurement, supplier negotiations and commercial structuring are run hands-on — so investors get practical execution, not just reports.
